Liu and Hack to Compete in ITA Sectional Championships

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The University of Maryland of women’s tennis team will be competing at the ITA East Sectional Championships down in Chapel Hill, NC, from Thursday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 10.

The Terps will be represented in the championship by Kallista Liu and Danielle Hack.

“Kallista and Dani have put themselves in a great position qualifying for Sectionals and having a strong Fall,” said Head Coach Katie Dougherty. “We’re looking forward to watching them compete with some of the best players in the country for a spot in the NCAA Championships.”

“They’re both playing great tennis right now and are ready for the challenge,” said Coach Dougherty.

Both Liu and Hack most recently competed at the TCU Jae Foundation Fall Open, where Liu went undefeated in singles play and Hack went undefeated in doubles play.

This is the Terrapins final competition of their fall slate before the NCAA singles and doubles Championships, see the full schedule here.
