Huskies Fall To No. 9 Ohio State Sunday


COLUMBUS, Ohio – The UW women’s tennis team (10-4) dropped a match to the 9th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes Sunday, 4-1 at Ty Tucker Tennis Center.
 
Doubles play came and went quickly as courts 2 and 3 fell 6-1 and 6-2, respectively, abandoning action on court 1.
 
No. 78 Alexia Jacobs was the only Husky to pick up a win on Sunday, winning her singles match over No. 68 Sydni Ratliff from the Buckeyes.
 
The Huskies dropped to 10-4 and the Buckeyes improved to 7-3 with today’s win.
