Cricchio With Two Wins At Stetson Invitational

DELAND, Fla. – Freshman Cade Cricchio earned victories in both singles and doubles as Florida State completed play on the second day of the three-day Stetson Invitational at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center on the campus of Stetson University.

Cricchio won her singles match with a 7-5, 4-6 (10-6) win over Magdalena Hedrzak of Stetson.  She capped off her day as she paired with Seminole teammate Kianah Motosono for a 6-0 win over Stetson’s Noa Cohen and Pilar Astigarraga Harper.

For Motosono, it was her third victory in the first two rounds of the tournament as she gained both a singles victory, and a doubles win in Friday’s first round.  She has a 3-1 record through the first two days of the tournament.

The three-day fall event features the Seminoles, Coastal Carolina, Stetson, Jacksonville State, Troy, and Saint Leo.  The Seminoles will play on all three days in a round-robin format.
