Russian and Belarusian players can play the 2023 Australian Open.
AO tournament director Craig Tiley said Russians and Belarusians will be able to play the Melbourne major under a neutral flag. The Australian Open begins on January 16, 2023.

“At this point, Russian and Belarusian players will be eligible to play in the Australian Open,” Tiley told the Australian media. “The only difference will be that they cannot represent Russia—cannot represent the flag of Russia.
“They cannot participate in any activity such as the anthem of Russia and they have to play as independent players under a neutral name. But they will be welcome to the Australian Open in January.”
Wimbledon banned Russian and Belarusian players from The Championships in condemnation or Russia’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine. The US Open permitted Russian and Belarusian players to compete.
