At 36, the milestones keep coming for three-time major champion Andy Murray.
The 2012 US Open champion passed his first test at Flushing Meadows on Monday, easing past France’s Corentin Moutet to become the ninth man to crack the 200-win plateau at the Grand Slams.
Murray, who won 6-2, 7-5, 6-3, sets a second-round clash with Grigor Dimitrov on Day 4 at the Open.
The Scot joins a lofty list that includes some of the greatest players in men’s tennis history.
And he’s only three behind Pete Sampras:
