Nevenhoven, Carter Named CSC Academic All-District Honorees

TUCSON – Belen Nevenhoven and Reece Carter have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Nevenhoven, a junior, holds a 3.63 GPA in Marketing. She was named to the 2023 Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll and was an ITA Scholar Athlete in 2022 and 2023. She has led Arizona in doubles wins for two consecutive seasons, tallying 19 as a sophomore and 17 as a junior. She has donated her time to a number of community service causes during the year.

Carter, who just concluded her sophomore year, is a Pre-Business major with a 3.79 GPA. She is a two-time All-Pac-12 First Team honoree and was the team’s MVP for the 2023 season. She achieved a season-high singles ranking of No. 98 and a season-high doubles ranking of No. 38 with Brandelyn Fulgenzi. She played consistently at the No. 1 spot in both singles and doubles.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 4.
