2022 Big Ten Men’s Tennis Tournament Bracket Announced


ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced the 2022 Big Ten Men’s Tennis Tournament bracket on Sunday, with Ohio State earning the No. 1 seed after clinching the 2022 Big Ten Men’s Tennis Championship. All 10 men’s tennis programs will play in the tournament, which will take place April 28-May 1 at the University of Wisconsin’s Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin.
 
No. 9 seed Michigan State and No. 8 seed Purdue will open the tournament with a first-round match at 11 a.m. (CT) on April 28. The winner of that match will face Ohio State in the Quarterfinals on April 29 at 9 a.m. (CT).
 
No. 10 seed Indiana and No. 7 seed Penn State will also play at 3 p.m. (CT) on Thursday in the other first-round match. The winner of that match will see No. 2 seed Michigan on Friday at 3 p.m. (CT) in the Quarterfinals.
 
No. 5 seed Nebraska and No. 4 seed Northwestern will play at noon (CT) on April 29. No. 6 seed Illinois and No. 3 seed and host Wisconsin will wrap up quarterfinal action with a 6 p.m. (CT) match on Friday.
 
The Big Ten Tournament semifinals will be played April 30 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. (CT), while the conference championship match is set for May 1 at noon (CT).
