China’s Wu Yibing has become the first highest-ranked male in his countries history, while Novak Djokovic is closing in on an incredible rankings milestone. Read on for rankings highlights for the week beginning on February 13.

History for China, Wu

On the heels of becoming the first Chinese player to ever claim an ATP title, Wu Yibing rises 39 spots to a new career-high ranking of 58. The 23-year-old was ranked 1869 in the world on March 21 of 2022.

Wu is the biggest riser inside the Top 100.

Coria Makes Top-50 Debut

Argentina’s Federico Coria jumps to No.49 in the world thanks to his trip to the final in Cordoba. The 30-year-old, younger brother of former World No.3 Guillermo, makes his top-50 debut and enjoys the second-largest jump inside the Top-100 (from 67 to 49, +18).

There were two other double-digit jumps inside the Top-100:

Sebastian Baez, +11 from 47 to 36
Maxime Cressy, +11 from 51 to 40
Albert Ramos-Vinolas +10 from 54 to 44

Djokovic One Shy of Graf

World No.1 Novak Djokovic remains at the top of the ATP rankings, entering his 376th week as World No.1. The legendary Serb is now just one week from tying Steffi Graf from the sports’ all-time singles record, which is held by Steffi Graf at 377 weeks.

Djokovic, who returned to No.1 for the seventh time after winning this year’s Australian Open title, will tie the record next week and break on the week beginning February 27.
