TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Women’s Tennis (11-8, 3-4 Pac-12) won their third consecutive match and second in two days, defeating the No. 25 Washington Huskies (14-7, 3-3 Pac-12) by a score of 4-0 on Saturday at Whiteman Tennis Center.

ASU gained the lead after winning the opening doubles point. Chelsea Fontenel and Patricija Spaka took care of business on court one, winning 6-4. Giulia Morlet and Sara Svetac clinched the doubles match with their 7-5 victory on court two.
On the singles side, Svetac and Emilija Tverijonaite claimed points just minutes apart to put the Sun Devils ahead 3-0. Svetac was the first to put a point on the board with a 6-2, 6-4 victory. No. 87 Tverijonaite would strike next with a two-set win 6-3, 6-3.
No. 79 Morlet clinched the match over the Huskies with a 6-4, 6-4 win to sweep Washington.
