The ‘Cats clinched after winning the doubles point and three singles matches. In their last matchup with the Huskies, the Wildcats fell 3-4, dropping the doubles point and three singles matches.
ITA Ranks – The Wildcats jumped three spots in the rankings, from #60 to #57 after their win against Pennsylvania over spring break on March, 9. WSU dropped from the ITA top 75 this week after suffering their first two conference losses against #31 UCLA and #36 USC. Washington moved up four spots from #25 to #21 after victories against UCLA and USC. The Huskies have four ranked individuals and one ranked doubles duo: #77 Astrid Olsen, #105 Sarah-Maude Fortin, #110 Hiraku Sato, #120 Jennifer Kerr and #65 Sato and Zehra Suko.
