TUCSON – Arizona’s Women Tennis schedule has released its schedule for the upcoming 2024 spring season, as announced by Head Coach Ryan Stotland on Thursday. The squad’s slate is highlighted by 11 home matches at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
The Wildcats begin their season in Phoenix, Ariz. with contests against UCSD and GCU on Jan. 16. They will return to Tucson to compete in their first home matches of the year against BYU, Michigan State, and Missouri Jan. 19-20.
Arizona will participate in the ITA Kickoff Weekend Jan. 26-27, taking on South Carolina, No. 3 Georgia, and USF in Athens, Ga. The squad will continue non-conference play as it hosts San Diego State (Feb. 2) and Maryland (Feb. 4). Arizona will follow those home matches with a trip to Santa Barbara, Calif., Feb. 16-17 to compete against UC Santa Barbara, Texas Tech and Kansas.
The Wildcats will travel to Montgomery, Ala., for the Blue Grey Classic (Feb. 23-24) and will compete in a pair of home matches against WMU and Nevada on March 2.
Conference play begins for the Wildcats with matches against No. 19 California and No. 4 Stanford in Tucson on March 8 and March 9, respectively. Arizona will then play in a pair of matches in Los Angeles, Calif., against No. 22 USC (March 15) and UCLA (March 16).
The Cats will continue conference play against Oregon March 24 before heading back to Tucson for face-offs against No. 24 Washington on April 5 and Washington State on April 6.
A final non-conference match will take place against NAU April 2 before Pac-12 play concludes with trips to Colorado (April 12), Utah (April 14) and No. 25 ASU (April 20).
The spring season will conclude at the Pac-12 Championship April 24-28 in Ojai, Cali.
