OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss women’s tennis ends their regular season with matches against No. 14 Tennessee on Friday, April 14, and No. 4 Georgia on Sunday, April 16.

SERVICE LINE

  • The Rebels dropped two matches last week to Texas A&M and LSU.
  • Ole Miss will recognize senior Lillian Gabrielsen on Sunday before the match for her three seasons with the Rebels.
  • Ole Miss last defeated Tennessee during the 2017-18 campaign, sweeping the Volunteers at home 4-0.
  • Despite losing, the Rebels play the Volunteers close, losing two of the last three by a 4-3 score.
  • The very same year, 2018-19 season, Ole Miss also swept Georgia at home, 4-0.
  • Ole Miss has three players with 15 or more singles wins, which includes three with 10-plus dual singles wins. Two more have 10-plus singles wins.
  • The team also has three players with double-digit doubles victories.
  • Ole Miss also has three players with more than 10 doubles wins.
  • Overall, the bottom of the singles lineup has been stellar, with a 22-9 record at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions.
  • Kareisova moved up back to No. 62 in the latest ITA Singles Rankings.
  • Zadori was placed on the SEC Community Team for her time helping the community.
  • In nine conference matches, Kareisova’s taken down three ranked opponents and is 6-3 in singles matches.

Lillian Gabrielsen (Sr.) – Oslo, Norway
– Compiled a 17-12 overall singles record and a 12-11 overall doubles record
– Moved into the Rebels’ top-25 career doubles wins
– Made the ITA Fall National Championships in singles as the South Region runner-up
– Reached the round of 16 in doubles at the ITA South Region Championships in 2021
Ludmila Kareisova (So.) – Liberec, Czechia
– Has a 15-10 singles record and 11-11 doubles record
– She is also 6-3 against ranked…
