BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Penn State women’s tennis team bests Indiana, 4-1.
DOUBLES
The Blue and White took wins on courts one and three to win the doubles point.
Jordina Cegarra and Alina Lebedeva defeated Elisabeth Dunac and Chase Boyer, 6-2.
No. 69 Olivia Dorner and Karly Friedland won their match against Nicole Teodosescu and Lene Mari Hovda, 7-5.
SINGLES
Penn State grabbed three singles points to take the win against Indiana.
Sofiya Chekhlystova won her match against Nicole Teodosescu, 7-6, 6-1.
At No. 6, Alina Lebedeva bested Magda Swierczynska, 6-4, 6-3.
Yvonne Zuffova defeated Saby Nihalani, 7-6, 6-3. Zuffova clinched the match for the Nittany Lions with her singles win.
UP NEXT
The Nittany Lions will return home to verse Rutgers on Friday, March 29 at 3 p.m. and Maryland on Sunday, March 31 at noon.
