Wildcats Welcomes a No.6 Ranked Recruit Class


TUSCON, Ariz.– Head coach Clancy Shields has received a No.6 ranking for the 2024 Arizona men’s tennis recruit class by tennisrecruiting.net.
 
Being ranked a top 10 recruiting class ties with the highest in school history from the 2020 class. This class included Herman Hoeyeraal, Gustaf Strom, and Jett Middleton.
 
Coach Shields has brought in five new recruits joining the Wildcats the upcoming season. The Cats welcome Zoran Ludoski who comes in as the No.1 spot in the Serbian 18U rankings. Matthias Uwe Kask joins Arizona as the No.3 ranked recruit in Canada’s U18. Oskar Janson holds five ITF titles. Santiago Padilla-Cote is a Blue Chip Recruit and holds a No.17 ranking in the United States. Filip Gustafsson completes the class having two ITF Junior singles titles and two doubles titles.
