Previously On

Arizona got a 4-2 win over the Ducks on March 24, winning the doubles point before going on to win three singles matches. Reece Carter and Brandelyn Fulgenzi defeated Tilde Jaguar and Uxia Martinez Moral, 6-2, before Belen Nevehoven and Martyna Ostrzygalo defeated Jo-Yee Chan and Sophie Luescher, 7-5 to clinch doubles.

Fulgenzi got a singles win first and was followed by Kayla Wilkins, but Oregon got two wins to come within one team point of Arizona. Ninety-eighth-ranked Carter recorded the clinching victory, defeating Luescher 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.

In the Rankings

Arizona is ranked 41st nationally, and the Wildcats have been ranked in the top 45 since Feb. 20. Reece Carter is ranked in singles at No. 111 and is in doubles alongside Fulgenzi at No. 39. Oregon is ranked 64th as a team.

With a win, Arizona will face No. 2 seed Stanford Thursday, April 25 at 3:00 p.m. MST in Ojai, Calif.
