CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 6 Virginia women’s tennis team (8-2, 0-0) opens ACC play with two road matches this weekend. The Cavaliers take on No. 21 Notre Dame (8-2, 0-0 ACC) on Friday, Feb. 23 at 3:30 p.m. in Notre Dame, Ind. Virginia closes out the weekend by playing at Louisville (4-3, 0-0 ACC) on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 12 p.m.

CAVALIER NOTES
- Virginia has moved up to a season-best No. 6 ranking. The Cavaliers started the season ranked No. 12 and were ranked No. 11 heading into the ITA Indoor National Team Championships
- Senior Hibah Shaikh has moved up to No. 20 in the ITA Singles rankings, the highest ranking of her career. Shaikh is 17-5 in singles this season
- Shaikh and grad student Natasha Subhash moved up to No. 17 in the ITA doubles rankings after being ranked No. 60 two weeks ago. The duo are 8-2 this season with two wins over top-10 opponents
- Senior Sara Ziodato picked up her 20th win of the season at ITA Indoors. She is 20-5 with an 8-1 record in dual matches
