LOS ANGELES – USC men’s tennis welcomes its newest signee, an in-state five-star prospect, Nathaniel Suh, head coach Brett Masi announced Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Suh heads to Los Angeles from Orange, Calif., where he is ranked as the No. 31 player in the 2025 recruiting class. The California resident will get to stay close to home and join a cast of numerous young West Coast products on the Trojans squad.
“Nathaniel is a great young talent out of Southern California, who has been a top talent in the area over the course of his junior career from 12-years old to 18s,” Masi said. “Nathaniel has a legacy of being a Trojan, and we are excited to continue that legacy as his mom was a Trojan.”
Nathaniel will join the likes of now-freshman Niels Hoffmann (Newport Beach, Calif.) and Connor Church (Vancouver, Canada) as part of this new regime in the fall of 2025. The incoming Trojan has a competition record of 22-12, including a 10-5 record against other five-star recruits and an 8-1 record against four-star players.
“What he can bring to the team is his hunger, his desire and his hard work. Great work ethic is something that we want to have here as we continue to build this program into one of the best in the country,” Masi said. “Nathaniel is also a great teammate and a great team player, and we are excited to see what he can bring to the team culture of our program.”
