LOS ANGELES- USC men’s tennis (5-11, 0-2 Pac-12) visits Washington (7-10, 1-2 Pac-12) in its first Pac-12 road trip of the season at 3 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 5, at the Lloyd Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle. The Trojans will then travel down to Eugene to face off against No. 67 Oregon (12-9, 1-2 Pac-12) at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Apr. 7 at the Oregon Student Tennis Center.
RANKINGS
The Trojans enter this weekend as the No. 49th ranked team in the country (ITA Team Rankings, Apr. 2). USC currently hosts one individual (ITA Singles Rankings, Apr. 2), junior Peter Makk, ranked #64.
USC has one ranked doubles team, as Makk and senior Lodewijk Weststrate are ranked #75 (ITA Doubles Rankings, Apr. 2).
LAST TIME UP
The Trojans battled it out against crosstown rival UCLA falling 4-1 on Friday, Mar. 29.
Lodewijk Weststrate had the sole victory for USC beating his opponent at the No. 2 singles spot 2-6, 6-0, 6-2.
SCOUTING WASHINGTON
The Huskies come into the matchup unranked as they are 7-10 (1-2 Pac-12) in the early portion of conference play this season. Washington does not currently have any ranked individuals. The Huskies have one ranked doubles team in Caesar Bouchelaghem and Dzianis Zharyn currently sitting at #39 (ITA Doubles Rankings, Apr. 2).
SCOUTING OREGON
The Ducks come into the matchup unranked as they are 12-9 (1-2 Pac-12) at this point of the season. Oregon does not currently have any ranked individuals. The Ducks have one ranked doubles squad, #41 Matthew Burton and Quinn Vandecasteele (ITA Doubles Rankings, Apr. 02).
