A total of 118 current or former Utah student-athletes are set to receive their degrees as part of the University of Utah’s Commencement on Thursday, May 2, recognizing graduates from Fall 2023, and Spring and Summer 2024 earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The University’s 155th general commencement also can be viewed on livestream at 6 p.m. MT on Thursday at www.utah.edu/live.
Utah’s student-athletes continue to graduate at an exceptionally high rate, producing a 94-percent figure in the most recent NCAA GSR Report, released in December 2023. It was the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s score has been 93-percent or higher, and ranks second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.
