Undefeated Huskies Welcome Boise State And Baylor This Weekend

Feb. 9-12 – ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Seattle
 
SEATTLE – The No. 21 Huskies will host their first double match weekend as they welcome Boise State on Friday, Feb. 2 and Baylor on Sunday, Feb. 4 at Nordstrom Tennis Center. Friday’s match will begin at 5 p.m. and Sunday’s will kick off at 11:30 a.m.
 
Baylor and Washington State will play a neutral match on Saturday, Feb. 3 at noon. Live stats will be available here.
 
The Huskies will then host the ITA National Team Indoor Championships for the second straight year as they welcome the top 16 teams in the nation next weekend, Feb. 9-12. The Dawgs will compete at Nordstrom Tennis Center for all of their matches during the weekend, while matches will take place at NTC and Seattle Tennis Club.
 

The 15 teams competing alongside Washington will be UNC, Georgia, Texas A&M, NC State, Stanford, Michigan, Texas, UCLA, Pepperdine, Ohio State, Auburn, Virginia, Cal, USC and Florida.
 
THE COMPETITION – BOISE STATE
 
The Broncos (1-1) started out their season with a 4-3 win over Idaho State before, most recently, falling to Washington State 0-7.
 
The past two seasons, the Huskies have defeated Boise State 7-0 and have not lost to the Broncos since the 2006-07 season when Boise State beat the Huskies 5-2 in Seattle.
 
THE COMPETITION – BAYLOR
 
The Bears (1-2) have faced two Top-10 opponents this season and dropped both matches, first to No. 9 Florida (1-6) and No. 10 Texas (0-4) in the ITA Kickoff Weekend Opener.
 
Baylor went on to complete Kickoff Weekend with a 4-1 win over SMU.
 
Last time out in 2023, the Huskies beat Baylor 5-2 in Waco.
