Terrapins to Host Indiana for Mental Health Awareness Match

COLLEGE PARK, MD.- The University of Maryland women’s tennis team will return to action against Indiana for the teams Mental Health Awareness Match on Sunday at the JTCC.

Maryland is currently ranked No. 54 in ITA’s team rankings and is 11-9 on the season. The team features Selma Cadar who is ranked #66 in singles and No. 1 doubles pair Minorka Miranda and Maria Budin who are ranked #61. 

With the support of Morgan’s Message, the team will be wearing green mental health shirts during the match as well as a green ribbon. Fans in attendance are encouraged to wear green as well. 

Senior Minorka Miranda, a leader for the teams mental health initiative’s, plays the match in support of mental health awareness.

The Terps are looking to keep up their success at home, boasting a 7-1 record when playing in College Park. 

In their most recent match, the Terps lost to Penn State on the road 5-2. 

Indiana is coming off a 4-0 loss to Michigan State in East Lansing.
