Terrapins Lose to No. 2 Michigan 4-1


Box Score COLLEGE PARK, MD- The No. 58 Maryland Terrapins lost to No. 2 Michigan 4-1 on Saturday.

In doubles Michigan opened the match by taking the No. 2 doubles match 6-1. Minorka Miranda and Maria Budin responded by winning the No. 1 doubles match 7-5 after coming back from a 3-5 deficit against the number four doubles pair in the country Kari Miller and Jaeden Brown. 

With the doubles point on the line Diya Challa and Aida Eissa took a hard fought No. 3 doubles match 6-4 and secured the doubles point. 

In singles, Michigan took four singles matches to clinch the 4-1 win.
