LINCOLN, Neb. — The Rutgers women’s tennis team (9-10, 0-8 B1G) dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 68 Nebraska (14-8, 3-6) in its final road game of the season on Sunday afternoon.
Doubles
Nebraska earned the doubles point after winning matches on the first and third courts.
The pair of Tara Chilton/Amira Badawi were ahead 5-2 on court No. 2 when the Cornhuskers sealed the first point of the day.
Singles
Nebraska continued its strong play into singles, winning three singles matches to clinch the 4-0 win.
Chilton did pick up the second set on court No. 2, but the Huskers went ahead 4-0 before the third set could be played to decide the contest.

The Scarlet Knights now have two remaining home matches against Ohio State (April 22) and Penn State (April 23). Both contests will begin at noon. Weather dependent, the matches will either be played indoors at East Brunswick Racquet Club or outdoors at Piscataway High School.
