Tennis Claims Doubles Point in Loss to Yale

Seton Hall

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. โ€” The Rutgers women’s tennis team (3-2, 0-0 B1G) claimed the doubles point before falling to Yale (4-0), 6-1, on Saturday evening at the East Brunswick Racquet Club.
ย
“We had a great comeback win at No. 1 doubles to secure the point,” said head coach Hilary Ritchie. “All the courts started off really close in singles, but we lost our lead in a couple of matches that were key. Yale did a good job competing in the big points. This match was a good learning experience for us.”
