Spartans Sign Top-10 Recruit Ozan Colak to National Letter of Intent

EAST LANSING, Mich. โ€“ Michigan State men’s tennis head coach Harry Jadun has announced the signing of Ozan Colak to a National Letter of Intent with the Spartans. Colak, a five-star blue-chip prospect who is ranked the No. 7 player in the nation by TennisRecruiting.net, is the highest-rated recruit in program history.

“First and foremost, Ozan is a tremendous human being and will have a positive impact at Michigan State and the East Lansing community,” said Jadun, who was named head coach earlier this week by MSU Vice President and Director of Athletics Alan Haller. “He has also proven that he’s one of the top junior players in the world and his experience competing at all four Grand Slams has prepared him to have success at the collegiate level.

“I am excited for Ozan to join the Spartan tennis family. There is no doubt in my mind that he will push this program forward and I look forward to bringing more top recruits to East Lansing to earn a world-class degree while preparing themselves for the professional tour. The future is bright for Spartan tennis.”
