Russia’s Diana Shnaider continues to surge up the WTA rankings.

The 20-year-old became the youngest player to win three titles on three different surfaces in a single season since 2009 on Sunday when she claimed the Budapest title with a win over Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the final.

Shnaider, who played college tennis at North Carolina State, rises five spots to a career-high of No.23 in Monday’s rankings. Outside of the Top-100 before she won her first WTA title in February, Shnaider has claimed three titles (also Hua Hin on hard courts and Bad Homburg on grass) overall this year, and risen 85 spots in the rankings since late January.

Karolina Muchova, who reached the final at Palermo in her third event since returning from wrist surgery, jumps six spots to No.29.

There was no movement inside the WTA’s Top-20 this week. Zheng Qinwen, who successfully defended her title in Palermo, rises two spots in the Race to the WTA Finals, from No.10 to No.8.

At the top of the rankings Iga Swiatek is into her 113th as the WTA’s No.1 – she’s just four weeks behind Justine Henin for eighth all-time and only eight behind Ash Barty for seventh all-time in week at No.1 of the WTA rankings.
