She Does It Again! Krawczyk Gets Two More Wimbledon Wins

LONDON – Sun Devil alumna and three-time Grand Slam champion Desirae Krawczyk has now advanced in both Women’s and Mixed Doubles at Wimbledon.

With a pair of wins on Wednesday, Krawczyk has advanced to the mixed-doubles final AND the women’s doubles semifinal. Partner Neal Kupski and Krawczyk are the defending champions in mixed doubles.

Krawczyk and Skupski reached the mixed doubles final with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 win over Sania Mirza and Mate Pavic on No. 2 Court. They will face Australian duo Sam Stosur and Matthew Ebden in the final.

What is on the line? She would be the first person to win two titles at the same Wimbledon since Serena Williams in 2016 won singles and doubles. Martina Hingis in 2015 was the last person to win the women’s doubles-mixed doubles combo at Wimbledon.

Krawczyk won three majors in 2021 (French Open, U.S. Open with Joe Salisbury and Wimbledon with Skupski), the first player to win three mixed-doubles slams in the same year since Martina Hingis and Leander Paes in 2015.
