WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue’s men’s tennis team will open up Big Ten Tournament play against the Michigan State Spartans on Thursday, April 28th in Madison, Wisc.

BOILER NOTES
• The Boilermaker’s last matchup with the Spartans in tournament play was April 26, 2012, in Evanston, Ill. 
• Earlier this season on April 10, Purdue bested Michigan State with a 5-2 win on the road. 
• Purdue leads the overall record in matchups with the Spartans 13-11, having carried an 8-4 record when the match was played in West Lafayette, Ind. 
• Seniors Athell Bennett and Andre Suzanne will enter their last Big Ten Tournament of their Purdue career on Thursday. 
• In Sunday’s match against Illinois, Rohan Sachdev overtook his opponent in singles to score the lone point for the Boilermakers. Athell Bennett and Piotr Galus put up a tough fight in doubles, forcing the overall point to come down to the third doubles match to determine a victor. 
• Michigan State closed their conference play over the weekend against Michigan, falling 1-6 in Ann Arbor.
