Ohio State University

EAST LANSING, Mich. – 16th-ranked men’s tennis completed a 7-0 sweep of No. 62 Indiana on senior day at the MSU Outdoor Tennis Center Sunday, dominating six of the matches in straight sets.

The win extends MSU’s winningest season in program-history set the day prior against Purdue, as the Spartans now sit at 20-3 on the season. Now 6-0 in the Big Ten, second-year head coach Harry Jadun‘s squad also continued its best start to conference play since 1967.

The Spartans sit in a three-way tie atop the Big Ten standings, shared with Ohio State and Michigan, who they are both yet to face. MSU takes on national No. 1 Ohio State on the road on Saturday, April 13.

In a weekend in which the five graduating seniors – Luke Baylis, Sebastien Collard, Reed Crocker, Ronald Hohmann III and Graydon Lair – were honored, each found success on the home courts. Collard, Hohmann and Lair all won singles matches Sunday while Crocker and Baylis prevailed in their opportunities on Saturday.

Credit to those four-year guys that have really turned this program around. For Graydon to get the clinch today was special as a senior and I think every senior from Sebastien to Ronnie, Graydon and Reed and Luke yesterday, were major parts in the big weekend.”
