GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Notre Dame’s Sebastian Dominko earned Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week while North Carolina’s Brian Cernoch and Benjamin Kittay were named the ACC Men’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.

Dominko posted a perfect 4-0 weekend at the No. 1 singles and doubles spot as No. 37 Notre Dame defeated Wisconsin, 5-2, and blanked UIC, 4-0. The 38th-ranked freshman took down his opponent from Wisconsin, 6-4, 6-1, and UIC, 6-0, 6-1. The Marivor, Slovenia, native added a ranked doubles win with his partner Connor Fu, defeating No. 21 Gabriel Huber and Michael Minasyan of Wisconsin, 6-2. Dominko and Fu are now ranked 47th in the country.

Cernoch and Kittay went undefeated over the weekend at the No. 2 doubles spot as No. 10 North Carolina faced three top-20 opponents in No. 6 USC, No. 8 South Carolina and No. 16 Florida at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship. The now 37th-ranked pair took down No. 15 Tanapatt Nirundorn and Togan Tokac of Florida, 6-2, and No. 30 James Story and Jake Beasley of South Carolina, 6-3.
