No. 7 USC Men’s Tennis to Face No. 13 Florida, No. 16 Georgia At USTA National Campus

THIS WEEK
The No. 7 USC men’s tennis team is headed to the Sunshine State for a pair of neutral site duals at the USTA National Campus in Orlando. USC will face No. 15 Florida on Saturday for a 2 p.m. EST match. On Sunday they’ll go head-to-head against the No. 13 ranked Georgia Bulldogs in a 11 a.m EST match.
 
The Trojans are fresh off qualifying for a spot at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships after going 2-0 at ITA Kickoff Weekend with wins over Vanderbilt, 4-2 and No. 25 UCLA, 4-0, respectively.

RANKINGS
Troy enters this week as the No. 7 ranked team in the country (ITA Coaches Poll, Feb. 1). USC boasts three Trojans in the national singles rankings with sophomore Peter Makk leading USC at No. 38 after a strong fall showing. Trojan 5th year Bradley Frye locked in the No. 65 ranking, while senior Stefan Dostanic secured the No. 79 rank. 
 
USC also boasts a ranked doubles pair of Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye, who hold the No. 12 rank. 
 
LAST SEASON
During 2022, Troy accumulated a 23-6 record, captured it’s second consecutive Pac-12 Tournament Championship and reached the NCAA Round of 16. USC wrapped up 2022 as the No. 13 ranked team in the country while Bradley Frye and Stefan Dostanic earned All-America honors. The 2022 season also saw Masi named Pac-12 Coach of the Year, while Trojans also swept the Pac-12 Player and Doubles Team of the Year awards.
 
SCOUTING FLORIDA
The No. 15 Gators are fresh off qualifying for a spot at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships after going 2-0 at ITA Kickoff Weekend with wins over USF, 4-1, and Mississippi State, 4-2, respectively. Gators in the ITA National rankings include No. 51 Nate Bonetto, No. 93 Jonah Braswell and doubles No. 10 Tanapatt Nirundorn/Togan Tokac, No. 37 Nate Bonetto/Axel Nefve and No. 43 Jonah Braswell/Lukas Greif. 
 
SCOUTING GEORGIA
No. 13 Georgia is 2-2 on the season, with season opening losses to then #16 Florida State and #7 Texas. As an ITA Kickoff Weekend host site, Georgia punched their ticket to the 2023 ITA National Team Indoor Championships after defeating LSU, 4-1, and Louisville, 4-1, respectively.
