CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 46 Clemson women’s tennis team (11-6, 1-5 ACC)  continues its slate of ranked ACC matches this weekend as it hosts No. 25 Syracuse (11-1, 4-1 ACC) on Friday and No. 51 Boston College (8-5, 1-4 ACC) as well as Chattanooga (11-2, 0-0 SoCon) on Sunday. First serve Friday is set for 3 p.m. Sunday’s doubleheader will begin at 11 a.m. against BC with the match against Chattanooga set to begin at 4 p.m.

Clemson and Syracuse have split their eight meetings 4-4, while the Tigers lead the all-time series against Boston College 13-3. Clemson has beaten Chattanooga in four of the five meetings between the two programs.

Clemson is coming off a difficult weekend in which it dropped two matches to top-10 ranked opponents in Duke and North Carolina, but the Tigers competed well and earned some impressive points in the process.

Junior Dani Medvedeva has been on fire, holding a four match winning streak including three over ranked opponents. She has defeated No. 51, No. 67 and No. 24 en route to her 13-1 singles record. She is currently ranked No. 125 in the ITA polls.

Sophia Hatton has also been sensational of late. She is 10-2 in singles play with her only two losses coming against ranked opponents.
