Start time and how to follow along will be shared with fans before the start of play.

Having appeared in the ITA doubles rankings since March, Spaka and Fontenel have compiled a 10-6 record this spring. Throughout conference play, the duo picked up ranked wins over Stanford’s Connie Ma / Alexandra Yepifanova (No. 20), California’s Hannah Viller Moeller/Mao Mushika (No. 18) and Washington’s Alexia Jacobs/Astrid Olsen (No. 48).

The duo made their debut as a doubles team back in September at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, going 2-0 throughout the tournament.

This marks the third spring in as many years that Spaka has qualified for the NCAA Doubles Tournament, having done so the past two seasons with alumna Domenika Turkovic. Partnering up with Spaka, it marks the first time Fontenel has qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championship.

It comes less than 24 hours after it was announced that the Sun Devils clinched a spot in their 36th consecutive NCAA Tournament.

Fontenel, Spaka and the Sun Devils are en route to Malibu, California, for the opening round of the NCAA Tournament against Northwestern (May 3, 10 a.m. MST).
