RALEIGH The NC State men’s tennis team kicks off its 2023 spring season with a home doubler header against UNCG.
The first match will start at noon with the second match starting at 4:30 pm at the J.W. Isenhour Center.
Pack in the rankings: The Wolfpack came in at No. 19 in the ITA Preseason polls. At the conclusion of the fall tennis campaign, the NC State men’s tennis team had one individual and two doubles pairs in the final ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.
Fifth-year senior Rafa Izquierdo Luque saw his name on both lists. Izquierdo Luque also saw his name in the doubles rankings, finishing No. 21 in the final rankings with Joseph Wayand. Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek finished No. 38 in the final ITA rankings.
Scouting the Spartans: Saturday in the first spring action for UNCG as well. The Spartans were last in action on Nov. 6 when they competed in the Southern Conference Fall Invitational.
