LOS ANGELES – The No. 10 ranked USC women’s tennis team return home this weekend as the Trojans host Oregon on Friday, April 12 for a noon dual at Marks Stadium.
USC is currently 16-6 and 7-1 Pac-12 play. Currently, the Trojans sit at the top of the conference’s leader board tied for first with No. 15 UCLA.

RANKINGS:
The Women of Troy enter this week ranked No. 10 in the country (ITA Computerized Rankings April 9). This marks the fifth consecutive week the Trojans have appeared in the Top-10 (their most consecutive weeks since 2015). It’s also the seventh time overall that USC has been top-10 or better this season.
Currently, four Trojans appear in the national singles rankings, with sophomore Emma Charney leading USC at No. 36 and junior Grace Piper locked in the No. 63 ranking. Trojan fifth-year Eryn Cayetano sits at No. 83 and redshirt senior Snow Han claimed the No. 105 spot.
The Women of Troy also boasts two ranked duos in No. 20 Cayetano and Charney and No. 56 Parker Fry and Grace Piper.
SO FAR THIS SEASON:
The Women of Troy opened the 2024 season with a pair of home dual matches, defeating LMU (7-0) and UC Irvine (4-0) during a season-opening doubleheader on January 18.
USC then hit the road for ITA Kickoff Weekend in Knoxville, Tenn., defeating No. 21 Miami (4-2) and No. 17 Tennessee (4-2).
Following a fantastic kickoff weekend, Trojan sophomore Emma Charney was named the Pac-12 Women’s Tennis Player of the Week. Charney went undefeated in singles and doubles in Knoxville and delivered both clinchers.
USC traveled south on Saturday, Feb. 3, for a dual against No. 20 San Diego. The No. 16 ranked Women of Troy won three singles matches against the Toreros but ultimately fell 4-3 to USD, dropping to 4-1 on the season.
At the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, USC went 1-2 in matches, falling to then No. 1 UNC before rebounding to beat No. 21 ranked Washington. The Trojans capped their time at ITA’s with a 4-2 loss to No. 6 Pepperdine.
