LOS ANGELES – The USC men’s tennis team is gearing up for one final weekend of regular season road matches as the Trojans travel to the Bay area to face No. 24 Stanford on Friday, April 7 and Cal on Saturday, April 8.
USC (11-6) has been battled tested throughout the spring, defeating heavyweights such as No. 1 TCU, No. 3 Texas, No. 15 Florida, No. 13 Georgia, No. 18 Arizona and No. 12 North Carolina while also defeating crosstown rival UCLA twice.
With a travel heavy slate this season, the Trojans have only been home once since January, and won’t return home until Friday, April 14.

TROJANS IN THE ITA RANKINGS:
In the ITA’s latest team rankings, USC checked in at No. 10, falling one spot from their previous mark of ninth.
USC boasts two Trojans in the national singles rankings with senior Stefan Dostanic occupying the No. 35 spot and sophomore Peter Makk right behind at No. 36.
USC also boasts the No. 16 ranked doubles pair in Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye.
NOTABLE:
- USC’s Peter Makk has clinched four matches for the Trojans, coming in clutch against Sacramento State, Vanderbilt, UNC and UCLA.
- The Trojans have a travel heavy slate this spring, with only nine total home matches scheduled, including two ITA Kickoff Weekend matches.
- Troy is 7-1 this season when capturing the doubles point, and 4-5 when losing the doubles point.
- USC welcomed two mid-season additions in UCLA transfer Karl Lee and freshman Learner Tien.
- So far this season, the Trojans have faced ten top-25 ranked opponents, winning four of those matches (#24 Vanderbilt, #15 Florida, #13 Georgia, #12 UNC).
- The Trojans have remained in the top-15 since the start of 2023.
SCOUTING STANFORD:
No. 24 Stanford is 11-6 this season and 2-1 so far in Pac-12 play, with wins over both Arizona and Arizona State. The Cardinal enter the match coming off a 4-1 loss on the road at Utah.
