That mystery was solved on Monday.Β

The No. 25 Wolfpack (15-9) will take on Oklahoma in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. The time will be announced later. The match will be played at No. 6 Georgia, the host for the first two rounds.

Β
This is the fourth ever meeting between the two programs. Oklahoma leads the all-time series 2-1. The last time the two teams met was in 2013, a 4-0 win by the Sooners in the NCAA tournament.Β
Β
No. 32 Oklahoma (14-11) finished fourth overall in the Big 12 Conference.
Β
This marks the 13th trip to the NCAA tournament in program history. The team has advanced to the NCAA tournament every year under head coach Kyle Spencer.
Β
NC State finished with a school-record nine ACC wins this season, going 9-3 in league play. The Pack entered the ACC Tournament last month as the No. 3 seed.Β
Β
Four of the six starters on this year’s team played in the NCAA Tournament a year ago, giving the Pack some experience.
