Nate Bonetto Selected to 2024 SEC Community Service Team

Bonetto Becomes the 12th player in program history to be tabbed for an SEC Community Service Team.

Gainesville, Fla. – Nate Bonetto has been selected to the 2024 SEC Men’s Tennis Community Service Team, the league announced on Thursday. All SEC sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, in a continuing effort to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes beyond the field of competition.

Bonetto becomes the 12th student athlete in Florida program history to be named to an SEC Men’s Tennis Community Service Team. Bonetto leads Florida’s team in community service hours, spending the majority of those hours in Elementary Schools in Gaineville as a part of Florida’s “Gators Lunch Buddies” program.

The program offers local schools in Alachua County opportunities for students in need of extra mentorship or motivation. Bonetto mentored local students during their lunch time, connecting with many students through their passion for sports and their love of the Gators.
