Naas Transitioning to Director of Operations


CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – University of Illinois Meaghan Naas, will take the role of Director of Operations for the 2022-23 season.

Naas has been working with both the men’s and women’s tennis teams since 2012 as the athletic trainer. Previous to Illinois, she worked with the men’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, and track and field programs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Naas attended Salisbury University on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and received a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. She worked with football, women’s soccer, women’s basketball, and a Divison I men’s lacrosse program while at Salisbury. Naas then received a Master of Science degree in education from Virginia Tech. While at Virginia Tech she was assigned to the men’s and women’s tennis programs.

“I am very excited to have this opportunity to work with the tennis programs in this new role.Β  Working with the teams for the last 10 years as the athletic trainer have been a privilege and I appreciate Brad and Evan bringing me on as the director of operations.”
