Men's Tennis | Vandy heads to ITA Regional Championship

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The fall season for the Vanderbilt men’s tennis program continues on Thursday with the start of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.

Eight Commodores will be competing in the main singles draw, with the main doubles bracket including four pairs from Vandy. The tournament, which is being co-hosted by Louisville and Bellarmine, will feature 23 teams from the region.

Finalists in both singles and doubles will earn an automatic berth to the 2022 ITA National Fall Championships, set to take place Nov. 2-6 in San Diego.

Event: ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship
Dates: Thursday-Monday
Sites: Bass-Rudd Tennis Center (Louisville) and Eddie Weber Tennis Complex (Bellarmine)

Format: There will be one flight in both the singles and doubles competitions, with a full consolation draw in singles as well

Schedule:
Thursday: Main Draw Singles, 10 a.m. CT; Doubles, 8 a.m.
Friday: Main Draw and Consolation Singles, 9 a.m.; Doubles, 8 a.m.
Saturday:  Main Draw and Consolation Singles, 11 a.m.; Doubles, 8 a.m.
Sunday:  Main Draw and Consolation Singles, 9:30 a.m.; Doubles, 8 a.m.
Monday:  Main Draw and Consolation Singles, 10:30 a.m.; Doubles, 9 a.m.
