CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Penn State men’s tennis team finished up play at the 2022 ITA Atlantic Regionals on Sunday morning. Two Nittany Lions saw action.
“I was surprised to see such solid talent all around from the mid major schools,” said associate head coach Paul Tobin. “For our first tournament of the fall season, some of the guys rose to the occasion. Now we have to analyze the matches played, and develop a plan to improve, especially in doubles where we could have performed better.”
SINGLES
Facing off against Virginia Tech’s Manuel Goncalves, Nittany Lion Miko Eala secured the win in a 6-0, 6-4 contest. In the other consolation match, Bossem fell to Beau Pelletier of Liberty 6-1, 6-2.
NEXT UP
The Nittany Lions will continue their fall season at the Liberty Hidden Dual and Big Ten Indoors the weekend of Nov. 4-6.
