BERKELEY – The 2021-22 California men’s tennis team collected accolades for its work in the classroom on Monday, when the Golden Bears were named an ITA All-Academic Team and Sean Hill and Lucas Magnaudet garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete status.
Cal was one of 163 NCAA Division I programs that posted a team grade-point average of 3.2 or above and was honored as an ITA All-Academic Team. Doubles partners Hill – who completed a graduate certificate last spring in Berkeley – and Magnaudet – now a rising junior – were among 933 NCAA Division I student-athletes with GPAs of 3.5 or higher to be named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
