Tennessee (12-5, 3-1 SEC) has won three of the past four meetings with Georgia, with the latest win for the Vols coming in the 2022 SEC Tournament quarterfinals in Athens, 4-1, over the Bulldogs. Georgia (10-5, 4-0 SEC) leads the all-time series 66-35-1, dating to 1947. A win would mark Tennessee’s third consecutive win over the Bulldogs when the match is played in Athens.

• Johannus Monday, a two-time ITA Singles All-American, is a combined 24-2 in dual singles and doubles matches this spring. At 12-1 in singles and 12-1 on the doubles courts this spring, 18 of those 24 total wins are at the No. 1 lineup spot (9-1 at No. 1 singles and 9-1 at No. 1 doubles). Monday is one of four players in the nation to currently be ranked inside the ITA’s top five in doubles and top 10 in singles.
HUDD EYES THE CENTURY MARK
• While clinching the doubles point alongside Shunsuke Mitsui Thursday at Alabama, Tennessee’s Emile Hudd earned the 90th overall doubles win of his career. Over half of those wins (47-of-90) have come in Tennessee orange. Hudd earned 43 doubles victories while playing at Oklahoma State.
HISTORY IN SIGHT
• Pat Harper, with 88 career overall doubles wins at Tennessee, is seven wins away from cracking the top-10 on the program’s all-time doubles wins list. Should he reach 100 career doubles wins by season’s end, he would become just the ninth Vol to ever do so in a career.
