Men's Tennis Begins Year Ranked in Top-10


DURHAM – Duke men’s tennis is ranked eighth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Preseason Coaches Poll sponsored by Tennis-Point, the organization announced Wednesday.

Duke is one of two Atlantic Coast Conference teams to be ranked among the ITA’s top-10, joining reigning national champions and No. 1 Virginia. Additionally, No. 13 North Carolina, No. 15 Wake Forest, No. 20 Florida State, and No. 21 NC State close out the conference schools in the top-25.

The Blue Devils open their spring campaign on Saturday, Jan. 20 when they welcome VCU to Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center for a noon match.
