TUCSON – The Arizona men’s tennis program has released its schedule for the 2024 spring season, as announced by Head Coach Clancy Shields on Thursday.
Arizona will start the year at home with a pair of matches against UC San Diego at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14. The squad will then welcome No. 25 Baylor to Tucson Sunday, Jan. 21 for a 1:00 p.m. matchup before hosting Miami, Tulane and No. 25 Baylor in the ITA Kickoff Weekend Jan. 27-28. Arizona will open ITA Kickoff weekend action against Miami at 1:00 p.m. on Jan. 27.
The Wildcats will face San Diego away on Feb. 2 (12:00 p.m.) before playing at Pepperdine Feb. 4 at (12:00 p.m.). ITA National Indoors are slated to take place Feb. 16-18 in Columbia, N.Y.
Arizona will then return home for a pair of matches against New Mexico State at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Feb. 25 before making the trip to Phoenix to play in the ASU Invite March 1-3. Non-conference action will conclude with a home match against Tulsa March 17 at 12:00 p.m.
The Pac-12 slate will open at No. 7 USC March 22 (4:00 p.m.) and UCLA March 24 (12:00 p.m.). Cal (2:00 p.m.) will travel to Tucson March 29 and the Cats will take on No. 9 Stanford March 31 at 1:00 p.m.
The Wildcats will face ASU Apr. 7 at 1:00 p.m. before playing their final home match against Utah Apr. 14 at 1:00 p.m. The regular season will wrap up with a pair of road matches, first at Washington (Apr. 19 at 5:00 p.m.) and then at Oregon (Apr. 21 at 12:00 p.m.).
The Pac-12 Tournament will run April. 24-27 in Ojai, Calif., and the NCAA Tournament will take place May 3-19. The NCAA Individual Championships will be held in Stillwater, Oklahoma., May 20-26.
