Daniil Medvedev is pumped for another shot at Sebastian Korda.

Beijing finalist Medvedev dismissed Chilean Cristian Garin 6-3, 6-3, setting up a Rolex Shanghai Masters third-round clash vs. world No. 26 Korda, fresh off his run to the Astana final.

In a bold all-court performance last January, Korda broke Medvedev in his opening service game of each set, sending the 2022 Australian Open finalist packing in a superb 7-6(7), 6-3, 7-6(4) Australian Open triumph.

On his fourth match point, the 29th-seeded Korda cracked a diagonal forehand winner just inside the sideline then thrust his arms in the air to celebrate his first Top 10 win in a Grand Slam tournament.

In Sunday’s rematch, Medvedev will try to defuse a “very dominant” Korda.

“Tough match because the only time I played him I lost and in straight sets and in a Grand Slam,” Medvedev told the media in Beijing. “So I for sure remember it. He played well. He was very dominant, in a way, and that’s how he plays, so it’s going to be interesting for me.

“I’m in a good shape now, so I will try to do better than last time and try to win.”
