CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers (8-4, 1-2 ACC) are coming off their first ACC-conference win for the 2024 spring season against Virginia Tech (6-4, 1-2 ACC), 4-3. The Tigers are slated to take on No. 5 Virginia (11-2, 3-0) and Charleston Southern (5-3) in a doubleheader at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Both matches will be available for live streaming and scoring, with free admission to the matches.

“Virginia is a well-coached team with a solid lineup player at each spot,” head coach Boomer Saia said. “We must be the best competitive versions of ourselves as we get into the match. It was a close match last year, and we need to use that as a stepping stone of confidence going into the match this year at home.”

This is the 53rd matchup between the Tigers and the Cavaliers, with Clemson leading 34-14. Against Charleston Southern, this will be the 6th matchup, with the Tigers leading 5-0 and last winning in 2019, 4-0.

Clemson is coming off of a win over Virginia Tech this past Friday, 4-3. Jenna Thompson, Leigh Van Zyl, Eleni Louka, and Dani Medvedeva all shined in their singles matches to secure the win over the Hokies.

The match against Virginia will be the team’s military appreciation match.
