MaryAnn Aaron joined the Georgia Tech women’s tennis team as a volunteer assistant coach in September 2022. Aaron arrived on The Flats after serving as an assistant coach at Georgia Gwinnett College last year.
Aaron helped oversee both the men’s and women’s tennis programs at GGC during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. During her time on the coaching staff, the Grizzlies won four NAIA national titles and three individual NAIA national titles.
As a member of the coaching staff, Aaron assisted the head coach in all aspects of practice planning and match preparation. The men’s program extended its win streak to 157 consecutive matches, holding the longest collegiate winning streak, while the women’s team hit a program milestone of 50 straight match victories.
Aaron arrived at GGC after serving as a graduate assistant at King’s College (PA) during the 2019-20 seasons. During her stay, she assisted in recruiting, match scheduling and practice planning. She also helped tutor the women’s MAC conference singles champion and men’s MAC conference singles runner-up in fall 2019.
A four-year letterwinner in women’s tennis at Eckerd College (Fla.) from 2015-19, Aaron was a team captain her final two seasons. She was also a NCAA Sunshine State Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year nominee in 2019.
Aaron graduated from Eckerd College with a bachelor’s of art in communication and a minor in marketing in 2019. She earned a master’s of science in healthcare administration from King’s College in 2020.
