Lin Wins ITA Regional Sportsmanship Award

SEATTLE – Senior Han-Chih Lin was named the recipient of the ITA Rafael Osuna Sportsmanship Award for the Northwest Region on Wednesday. Lin will now be a contender for the same national honor.

Lin (Chiayi, Taiwan) is just the third Husky to win the Rafael Osuna Sportsmanship Award at the regional level, joining Alex Vlaski (2004) and Jack Davis (2020).

Named in honor of International Tennis Hall of Fame member Rafael Osuna, who played collegiately at USC in the early 1960s, this ITA award honors players who demonstrate many of the key tenets of Osuna’s game including, but not limited to, sportsmanship, character, academic achievements, and outstanding tennis accomplishments.

Lin went through graduation ceremonies this past weekend after completing his B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Education, Learning, & Society. As a four-year starter, he finished with 42 singles wins in dual matches and 29 doubles victories for the Huskies.
