SPOKANE, Wash. — Han-Chih Lin got his third win at ITA Northwest Regionals to advance into the singles semifinals today at Gonzaga’s Stevens Center. Sophomore Nedim Suko also picked up a couple wins to make the consolation draw final.

Lin bounced back from a 1-6 first set loss to Gonzaga’s Leon Roider, winning the second and third sets, 6-3, 6-3. He’ll next play Vlad Breazu of Oregon in the semis.

Sophomore Rikuto Yamaguchi dropped his quarterfinal match to the top seed, Matthew Hollingworth, by a 6-2, 6-2 margin.

Suko had a couple wins over Andrin Zuellig of Portland State and Filip Stipic of Seattle U. in the consolation draw today. Suko and Lin also teamed for an 8-4 doubles win over Sarlvik/Dalos of Eastern Washington. Freshman Brett Pearson and Yamaguchi also had a tiebreak win in doubles over another EWU tandem, Ortega and Paz.
